All American Railway Express workers except top executives and the 2,500 shopmen covered by the July 20 award gain from today’s decision.
A Rochelle car struck Max Diedrich riding a bicycle at Eighth and Lincoln Highway and did not stop. Diedrich suffered only scratches while his bike was ruined. Bystanders recorded the car number. it was traced to Rochelle Auto Company. No action was known at present.
