Both Genoa residents, the quarrel stemmed from a dispute over priests moral standards. Patterson received no injuries and the justice imposed a further 5 dollar fine plus costs to the aggressor.

Washington August 10 541 casualties announced by the War Department in today’s release total weekly toll. Army figures include 64 killed in action 28 died of wounds 8 died of disease 2 died of aeroplane accident 4 died of accident 102 severely wounded 102 wounded degree undetermined 211 missing.
