Egg shaped worship in Deer Park football lore from 1969
In a speculative 1000 year future scene set in Deer Park Texas fans are described as worshippers of an egg shaped object carried by youths in bright shirts. Black and white striped referees gesture over the field while halftime dance on grass unfolds as a form of ancient ritual. The piece muses on our own customs seeming strange to future observers.
