Carpenter PTA program explores points of view in the community
The W A Carpenter School PTA October meeting on October 21 at 7 30 p m features Plays for Living presented on stage as THE GRE BLACKBOARD by Nora Stirling. The drama urges discussion after the performance to explore divergent views among parents and teachers with trained discussion leaders. A third grade invocation precedes the program and public attendance is invited. The Houston Galveston Area Council executive committee also meets October 21 at 9 30 a m in the Federal and Bank Building Houston. An engagement is announced for Linda Jean Garrett to John Douglas Hayman with a December 20 wedding at Deer Park First Baptist Church.
