Unwelcome Skunk Invades Deer Park Home
The Beach family at 214 W Vaughn Deer Park endured about a week with a skunk in their attic after a mousetrap failed to trap it. Neighbors and firemen assisted but the animal avoided capture until Thursday noon when Mr Beach found it still with the trap on its neck. Officials hope for no repeat. Also announced is the second annual Texas Rice Festival to be held on Broadway Winnie on Oct 2 to promote Southeast Texas civic welfare and rice production.
