Langham Promoted to Captain in Air Force

Center To Conduct Outdoors Program Intro Guide Training
Armand Bayou Nature Center will run an Interpretive Guide Training program from 9 to noon on September 19 21. The Bayou Interpretive Guides guide school children and adults in groups of ten to fifteen on nature hikes along a one and a half mile coastal prairie and mixed deciduous forest trail.

Airman Rickie L Hebert graduates at Lackland AFB
Airman Rickie L Hebert son of Mr and Mrs Andre Hebert of Deer Park has completed basic training at Lackland AFB Texas and will continue with security police specialized instruction. The 1977 Deer Park High School graduate earned credits toward an associate in applied science from the Community College of the Air Force. Hebert studied the Air Force mission and organization and gained human relations training.
