Carpenter Capers and School News Highlight Autumn Arts
A long spread blends classroom art with Rag-Tag football news and local events. Salt folklore sparks discussion in social studies as Mrs Jensen’s third graders craft autumn designs with salt and glue while Dee Park pupils prepare Halloween art. The White team and Orange team feature in the school’s football program. A Teacher of the Week, Robert Kephart, arrives from Kansas to teach sixth grade, coach and enjoy crafts. Community notes recount field trips, birthdays, bridge club antics, a birthday party for Louis DeLuia, and local living highlights including a state capitol visit and fall foliage at a state park. Birth announcements, student awards, and campus activities pepper the October calendar.
