Fire Dept Elects New Officers in Deer Park
Odis Chappell was unanimously re elected chief of the Deer Park Fire Department at the annual elections on Oct. 30. Cecil Brewer was re elected president and Jimmy Clark Jr. vice president. Darrell Wood was re elected secretary treasurer and also named rescue captain. New executive board member C H Trotter and chaplain Glenn Sanders were named. The department has logged 169 rescue runs and 87 fire alarms year to date.
