Bank Robbery at Pasadena Bank Ends With Suspect Capture
FBI tracked a robbery carried out by a suspect dressed in women’s clothing who handed money to the teller and took a man in line as hostage. Culbertson, a Diamond Shamrock Credit Union manager, was forced to assist the robbers before they fled in a taxi. Chap man, previously convicted of armed robbery, was later captured after a taxi ride and police pursuit. Culbertson later described his nerve in facing the armed robbery. He was released in the bank lot and later drove to Houston for a meeting.
