Council weighs street paving with school district consent
During a heated discussion Hall claims city attorney Strong said an assessment of the school district for paving is illegal. Burke notes the school agreed to participate to enable paving for travel to the new high school under construction. Strong says consent is needed and suggests a contract with the district. The school’s participation helped select T Street as an east west route by Deer Park, with plans for 13th Street also debated.
