Brookglen Community Association Meeting Notes 1975 Hopes and Hurdles
The Brookglen community association met on Thursday June 6 at San Jacinto College to discuss the 1975 tax outlook. Developers delays may keep taxes steady at 85 cents per $100 though expansion is hoped for. A $50 000 repayment from Johnson Loggins to spur new development is noted. A close vote on security patrols exists with 43 for and 43 against. Volunteers for the Water Board of Equalization are sought at $25 per meeting twice monthly. New pool amenities include a bicycle rack and a Coke machine. Updates cover playground equipment stop signs and a 25 mph limit. A child was recently hit by a car with no serious injuries. Birthday wishes are extended to Richard Clingen and Helen Clingen. Meetings will be held every two months instead of monthly.
