Deer Park Hospital Plan Outlined By Kesner
Kesner of Mediplex Health Services spoke to the Deer Park Rotary Club on plans for the Deer Park Community Hospital. He said a 128 bed facility with 24 hour emergency service and a two story professional building will cost about $5 million, with 300 staff and 60 percent doctor ownership. Construction begins July 1 with opening targeted for March 1975.

Deer Park Secondary Schools Earn SACS Accreditation Status
The Deer Park Independent School District announced that its secondary schools Deer Park Senior High School Deer Park Junior High School and Deepwater Junior High School were commended for accreditation reports. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools executive committee met May 22 in the Gulf Coast region to evaluate reports for continued certification and membership.
