W. C. Rodgers Promoted At Shell Deer Park Plant
W. C. Leroy Rodgers named manager of a newly formed department at Shell Chemical Company in Deer Park. He will operate the vinyl chloride monomer facility under construction, with completion planned for 1971. Rodgers moves from staff engineer in the Industrial plant’s Technical Department after a recent role as training director for the ethylene facility courses. A Houston native, he earned a Rice University chemical engineering degree in 1944 and joined Shell as a chemist that year.
