Deer Park High School and option holders may purchase 1969 season tickets from August 4 through August 15 at Clyde Abshier Stadium. Six home games start 7 30 P M at the stadium with a season package priced at 7 50, saving 1 50 from 1 59 per ticket.
Deer Park City Council and Planning Commission announce a joint public hearing at 6:45 PM on August 12 1969 at City Hall 1302 Center Street to consider reclassifying East 30 feet of Lot 4 Block 2 Swindell Addition from District 2 to District 4 Business District for compliance with Preliminary Report dated July 9 1969. Dorothy S. Martin Acting City Secretary and R C Leezer Chairman note the City may alter the proposal or zoning. Exhibit A.
A public hearing on the San Jacinto College budget for fiscal year 1969 70 will be held Monday evening August 18 1969 at 7 30 p m in the Gilbert C McCollum Jr Administration Building Auditorium 8060 Spencer Highway Pasadena Texas.
PATROLMAN DONA CAR LILE served Deer Park from June 1965 to July 1967 and from April 1968 to present. He has four years as an officer including nine months with Irving Texas. He attended Abilene Christian College three years and is studying at San Jacinto and Sam Houston State College for a degree in Law Enforcement and Police Science. He has Texas A&M basic police training and an intermediate certification. The Carliles have a daughter Julie Kaye and reside at 1410 Byron. It doesn’t take much skill to write a love letter but it may take skill to get it back.
Mr. and Mrs. John H. Brown and daughters Jana and Dale of 810 Norwood have returned from a West Coast vacation. They visited Mrs. Viola Singele, Mrs. Brown's mother, who lives in Santa Monica.
