Youth Team Serves Sharon Congregation This Summer
Lutheran Parish Mission Builder Teams send eight groups of four youths for ten weeks across the United States. One team, two men and two women, stays in Deer Park until July 13, lodging provided by Sharon families. They work with local youth and evangelism committees to extend parish outreach. A retreat runs July 1-3 at Shalom by the Sea, Galveston. The Deer Park district also notes a July 7 tax equalization board meeting at 10:00 a.m. to review 1969 values.
