Gas Pump Incident Delays New Diamond Shamrock Opening
An unknown motorist struck the east end pump at Diamond Shamrock Service Station on SH 225 early New Year and fled. Manager Cliff Stovall reported the damage, noting the outer shell and pump track were torn but no fire occurred. The station had opened recently with new equipment and faces a repad repair showing the ongoing risks of early morning operations.
