Deer Park School District Sets Aug 15 Kindergarten Registration
On Wednesday August 15 about 500 kindergarten students and 500 more new enrollees not on May 1973 rolls in Deer Park Schools will register. Schools open 8 am to 6 pm for all elementary and secondary buildings in attendance zones. senior and junior high open August 16 for new secondary students. The T G and Y expansion details show a January 1974 completion target with 125 to 150 initial employees and eventual growth to 400. A 150000 square foot distribution center will serve 140 stores in South Texas and South Louisiana, with facilities located in Oklahoma City and other cities.
