Jane Northam and Steve Maas are named Junior Rotarians of the Month by Deer Park High School faculty and honored by the Deer Park Rotary Club. Northam, daughter of W. A. and family, excels in Honor Societies and clubs and is slated to graduate 100th in a class of 383. Maas, son of Everett and family, earned varsity sports honors and FTA involvement with All-District in baseball and senior football and baseball team memberships.

Mrs. Powell, a registered medical technologist, will receive the Distinguished Achievement Award from AMT at the 34th National Convention in Philadelphia the week of July 17. Powell is lab staff at Blalock South East Nursing Home Laboratory Pasadena and has long AMT service since 1968 including roles as vice president and district secretary.
