Iowa Butter Trade Mark Set To Brand Top Quality
The Thirty sixth general assembly approved a trade mark for the finest Iowa butter. After the start of the year the mark will certify cream quality and strict sanitary manufacture. Cremeries will be inspected by Iowa State College dairy staff and state dairy inspectors under W B Barney. Only butter free of off flavors and health concerns will bear the mark, a guarantee of state inspection. Cremeries with a combined output of one and a half million pounds already participate.
