C B Morrison master in chancery reports that Chicago butter and egg board violated trade laws by price fixing before February elimination. The findings extend to the Elgin board and will go to Judge Landis for decision.
The 112th prize went to Senator Elihu Root of New York for pacification efforts in the Philippines and Cuba and handling the Japanese American dispute. The 1913 prize was awarded to Senator Henry Lafontaine of Brussels a former president of the permanent international peace bureau in Berne Switzerland. Two prizes, each worth 40000, were awarded this year due to no prize last year.
