Governor Mark White appointed Dale Smith of De Leon to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians for a term to September 1, 1989. Smith, 54, a dietitian consultant, born August 1, 1929, holds a degree from Texas Woman's University and is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the Consultant Dietitians in Health Care Facilities Practice Group. The appointment follows SB 671, 68th Legislature, creating the board.
