Missing 27 Month Old Found Safe After Lamkin Search
Comanche County Sheriff and volunteers searched last Thursday night near Lamkin for Nathan Hall 27 months old who wandered from home three and a half miles west of Lamkin. He was found unharmed at 10 50 p m sleeping with his dog and cat. Appreciation was extended to helpers from De Leon and county personnel.

De Leon School Board Adopts 1977 78 Budget
The De Leon Board of Education approved an operating budget of 878,653 for the district and a special education budget of 282,992 after a Sept 13 hearing at the tax office. State receipts total 562,074 with local and intermediate funds bringing total receipts to about 942,724 against 878,653 in expenditures. An unencumbered fund balance of roughly 64,000 remains for emergencies or to retire a short term note on the pre school building.
