Dr Peter G Fagan joined De Leon Clinic Associates as of Monday August 23. He teams with Dr Forrest Eisenrich and Dr Eddie Paul Moore in medicine. He and his wife Susanne have two children Pamela-9 and Paul-7 and attend the Methodist Church. He studied at College Station University of Texas Austin Southwestern Medical School Dallas did internship residency at University of Minnesota and practiced two years in Buffalo Wyoming before moving to De Leon. His parents live near Stephenville on a farm. De Leon welcomes him to the community.

Last Saturday in Comanche FFA and 4-H members weighed and tagged show calves for county and major stock shows. Steers bound for the county show ranged 400 to 600 pounds and pictures were taken for those headed to major events. De Leon contributed 26 steers to the county drive and 40 for the major shows with listed animals including Floyd Stokes Maine Anjou 521 pounds and 520 pounds Dee Dee Nowlin Shorthorn 567 pounds Donnie Morris Maine Anjou 566 pounds.

The De Leon Housing Authority seeks a Farmers Home Administration loan for a 24 unit complex on a three acre site west of City Park.
