Alene Otwell won the Homecoming Queen title in a voting of ex students with 114 votes. Mrs Otwell is a 1936 graduate and longtime De Leon Bearcat football game attendee. Anterless Deer Permits Issued At Courthouse In Comanche
Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept will issue anterless deer permits for Comanche County on Monday and Tuesday October 24 and 25 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 to 5:00 pm in the county courthouse. A map of compartments and rates will appear in this week's paper. Landowners must own or control at least half the permit rate of their compartment. After opening, permits will be available to landowners or agents only on the scheduled dates.
