Harris Favors De Leon By Sixteen Points
The Harris Rating System predicts De Leon will fall to Ranger by 16 points in a District 12 -AA matchup. Other district results include Dublin 35 over Hico and Hamilton 19 over Millsap. State rankings list Dublin 39th, De Leon 88th, Hamilton 167th, Ranger 178th, Hico 195th, and Millsap 201st with respective scores.

Indictments For Abuse Handed Comanche Man
A 220th Judicial District grand jury issued 14 felony indictments last Wednesday in Comanche. George Robert Cutler, 3?, faced charges including indecency with a child and aggravated sexual abuse to a child. He was jailed on an unrelated misdemeanor when served. Seven indictments were sealed.

Natatana Care Center Secures Re Certification
As of August 24, 1983 Natatana Care Center has been recertified by the Texas Department of Health after a prior de certification on June 14. Administrator Nell Coats states all deficiencies were cleared. New license extends to September 1984 pending approval by the Texas Department of Human Resources for vendor payments. Elete Colbough now serves as director of nurses.

De Leon surged early with 34 points against Bangs, led by Trent Sharp who rushed for 107 yards and threw for 90. Key plays included an 80 yard kickoff return, a 13 yard TD by Shane Bunting, and a 31 yard field goal by Johnny Lewis. McKillip and Bunting logged interceptions as De Leon shut out Bangs.
