The event aims to boost donor turnout and compares De Leon with Comanche, which holds its drive the following day, with awards for schools and staff contributing the most donations.
The public is invited to a December 1 county 4-H Foods Show at Comanche High School from 12 noon to 1 pm with awards. 4-Hers from the county will compete in Breads Desserts Main Dish Side Dish and Snacks and Beverages. Senior 4-Hers will be judged on leadership as well.
