Bearcats announce 23 lettermen and season recap
Head Coach Jack Kerg er today announced lettermen on the OTTe Bearcat football squad. Twenty three boys will receive letters. Senior lettermen include John Weaver Ronnie Aguero David Tucker Larry Kime bell Randy Hardin Charles Ditmore Roland Almaguer Toby Mahan and Don Richardson. Junior lettermen are Gary Park Monte Stewart Dwayne Chapp Martin Lane Robert Gilder Myron Adams and Billy Lively. Sophomores include John Aguero Buzzy Mahan Gary Dodd and Mike Lively. Freshmen Jeff Brinson and Bud Golden won letters. The Bearcats ended the season 8 3 with a district championship and Coach Waggoner says next year should be a good one. There are 13 returning lettermen and a fine group coming up off the B team.

The Campfire Turkey Shoot at the Riding Club Barn drew 168 targets across five divisions with lively competition.
