Sesquicentennial Program Planned in Comanche County
On Thursday night November 21 at 7 p.m. in the Comanche district courtroom two Texas communities in Comanche County will be honored. Jeanine Hicks of the Texas Sesquicentennial office will present to each community along with other gifts such as coloring books for Comanche, De Leon, Gustine and Sidney schools. A pair of spurs will be given to the Comanche County Museum and the public is urged to attend.

De Leon Chamber of Commerce will host two Shoppers Nights during December. Santa arrives December 2 at 6 pm with gift certificates of 75, 50, and 25 dollars to spend at local merchants.
