The Harris Rating System projects De Leon as a 13 point favorite over Hamilton Bulldogs this week. De Leon is ranked 90th in the state in Class AA with a 130 playing power, while Hamilton sits 139th at 117.

Todd Whitehead Wins Football Contest With Perfect Entry

Harvest Festival at First United Methodist Church

Texas voters will cast ballots on eleven constitutional amendments next Tuesday November 8. Polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. De Leon offers City Hall and High School as voting sites. Bearcats Fall to Dublin Lions in District Title Clash

Dublin Lions upset De Leon 36-14 to clinch the District 12-AA crown. De Leon opened with a 6-0 lead on a 10-play drive capped by Shane Bunting. Dublin answered with a safety and later tied the game before halftime. McKillip led De Leon with 98 rushing yards, while Bunting added 69 on 17 carries.

DPS Officers Here Only Once In November For Driver's License

Department of Public Safety officers will visit De Leon for driver license services one time in November on the second or fourth Thursday except Thanksgiving Day. The event aims to help residents obtain licenses with on site processing and assistance.
