Proceeds from the Halloween Carnival benefit De Leon Public Library with a full Carnival recap planned next week. Downtown parade to vote scheduled for Monday afternoon.

Altha Wilkeren invites De Leon United Methodist parishioners to a harvest festival on Saturday November 4 with a 9:00 a.m. volunteer arrival and 10:00 a.m. open to the public. Activities include a country fair atmosphere, a sandwich parlor meal, Underwood's barbecue from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. for 2.00 adults 1.00 children, and an auction at 7:00 p.m. Auctioneer Anthony Brinson keeps it lively as the parish promotes Go Love Others God’s Little Ones.
