Harvest Festival Eleventh Year Opens Saturday at Leon City Hall
Organizers invite all to Leon city hall for the Harvest Festival this Saturday November 3. Booths open at 10 a.m. with crafts, used items and special sale items. Food booths serve till 1 p.m. barbecue dinner from 5 p.m. and an 7 p.m. auction. Proceeds benefit the Little Children’s Day Care Center and aim to attract non Methodist friends.

Leon Police Arrest Five On Drug Charges
The Leon Police Department arrested three adults and two minors for possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Six ounces of marijuana valued about $150 were seized. The arrests occurred Sunday night with additional Saturday arrests for marijuana possession, including three minors.
