Locke Named Labor Negotiator at Gulf Port Arthur Refinery
Wiliam H. Locke has been named Labor Negotiator in Gulf’s Port Arthur Refinery Labor Relations and Benefits Division. He earned an eight B A from the University of Texas in January 1969 and joined Gulf in February 1969 in Accident Prevention. Locke and his wife reside with two children in Groves.

Annual Staff Thanks Merchants
The 1972 De Leonian Year books were issued to the students Monday and the traditional yearbook signing came menaced. A record number of 400 yearbooks were sold this year. The Annual Staff thanks the merchants who advertise in the yearbook and make it possible to sell the books to the students at a below cost price. The yearbook is dedicated in memory of Beverly Barnes, who was killed in an auto accident last year.

Two divisions Grade School and High School feature grand entry bull riding barrel and goat events and tie down roping with admission 1.00 for adults and 50 cents for students.
