A large crowd attended the Open House at De Leon Hospital Sunday as visitors toured the new addition. Jack Heath and the Hospital Board are commended for the facility and patient care and hopes rise for more doctors to join De Leon’s two physicians. The facility adds a 32 bed unit a ICU CCU eight emergency department nursery and delivery area boosting capacity to 40 beds. Remodeling of the old building to house surgical suite recovery central supply pharmacy and chapel proceeds with completion set for April 15.
