FFA Judging Teams Enter at Abilene
The De Leon Future Farmer Dairy Cattle Judging Team entered the Judging Contest at ACC in Abilene on Monday March 21. They placed eleventh among 75 FFA and 4 H teams. Freeze Devastates De Leon Area Fruit Crop
A severe freezing norther Monday night virtually wiped out the promised big fruit crop for De Leon. The W H Smith orchard with about 35 000 trees suffered heavy damage, with uncertain totals expected by week’s end.
