The eighth annual Kendrick Easter Pageant presents a free life of Christ from birth to resurrection at 3 30 A M on Easter Sunday April 2 1972. Comanche County Drivers Pay Bill For Interstate System
Comanche County car owners contribute to the Highway Trust Fund through gas and auto taxes. Local drivers of 5,670 cars average 10 000 miles yearly at 14 mpg paying about 30 dollars annually. 15 000 miles pays 45. The fund finances 90 percent of road construction. the system, started 16 years ago, will cost about 75 billion by 1978. Local totals show about 170 000 dollars contributed in the past year, excluding local auto-use taxes.

De Leon Junior High Boys Track Showings At Comanche Meet
De Leon Junior High opened the season tying for third with Stephenville at the Comanche meet amid a large field of Class AA and AAA schools. Craig Smith won two events the 200 yard intermediate hurdles and 70 yard high hurdles while Robbie Davis, Tommy Cleere, and Kelly Gorman posted multiple podium finishes across sprints hurdles and field events.
