The Macon family held its annual reunion on Saturday June 5 at Dee Macon's home in De Leon Texas with about 60 relatives and friends attending a buffet lunch. Organizers note the group plans to meet again on the first Saturday in June 1955 and gather many listed relatives from Comanche Dublin and Dallas areas.

Revival at First Methodist Begins June 2 With Parmer Preaching
Rev. Quay Parmer of Fort Worth leads first Methodist revival in De Leon with Evangelist Earl Ward in charge of music.
