Roddy Qualls Hospital Fund Established in Abilene
A hospital fund for Roddy Qualls is set up at De Leon F&M Bank. Donations can be made through Fred Williams at the bank. Roddy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Qualls, survived a July 4 car crash near Abilene in which nine of ten injured people died. Roddy remains in serious condition in Hendrix Memorial Hospital Pediatrics, Abilene, Texas.

Injured In Highway Accident Claims De Leon Man
Buddy Royce Park 26 of De Leon died after a construction accident on Highway 16 three miles north of Desdemona at 7 30 p m on Monday July 11 He was helping move heavy equipment for Prater Construction Com pany of Comanche when a machine struck him as he stood beside a pickup He was the son of Mr and Mrs Roy Park of Rt 1 De Leon and attended De Leon High School Funeral services were held at Nabors Funeral Home on Wednesday July 19 officiated by Barney Welch of Austin.
