Comanche County auto owners will not buy new plates this year but must purchase strips to place on current licenses. Auto licenses go on sale February 1 1976 with a De Leon City Hall office likely opening March 1. Mr. Thomas K foreman will advise on the matter later.

Comanche Junior Livestock Show Sets Second Largest Sale
A Friday night sale at McDougal's Auction barn grossed 58 667 70 for 175 market animals in the Comanche Junior Livestock Show. Floyd Key notes the event was the second largest in fifteen years, with last year’s sale totaling about 19 000 less. Lambs, barrows, and steers brought varied totals and top prices, including a 1266 70 milk fed steer by Dee Dee Nowlin and a 466 20 grand champion barrow by Steve Davis.
