The De Leon High School selects Who's Who winners led by ALL DHS BOY & GIRL Ronnie Frost and Meridith Smith. Other titles include MOST TALENTED Steve Watson and Karla Milner and MOST ATHLETIC Budd Golden and Perri Lou Short. Weather data follows from the Proc tor Reservoir Weather Station for a 24 hour period ending 8 a.m.
Richard Armstrong announced the Annual C of C Banquet will be February 12 at 7 30 p.m. in the PAR Country Club banquet room Lake Proctor. Dr O A Grant Tarleton State University will speak on local government in small towns. Outstanding Citizen and Rural Citizen of the Year for 1974 will be announced with plaques presented. Tickets are $4 from chamber members. Rev Don Martin leads revival services at United Pentecostal Church through February 9 with special music. Kindergarten enrollment for 1975 76 is requested at the Elementary School Office with birth certificate and immunization record.
Doyle W. Taylor and Charles Taylor announced promotions at the Farmers & Merchants Bank De Leon effective February 1 1975. Fred D. Williams will be Executive Vice President Sue Wilson Vice President and Mary Beth Hodges Assistant Vice President.
Comanche County 4-H adult leaders met Monday January 27 at 7 00 P M to outline planning for 1975 projects and form committees to carry out the plan for the year.
