Albany Girl Killed by Katy Freight Train
Margie Dell Macon nine, daughter of Mr and Mrs Arles Macon of Cook Field, died Friday about 2 30 pm after being struck by a west bound freight train on the Hubbard creek bridge near Sedwick. Her sister Barbara escaped injury. Funeral held at First Christian Church with burial in Moran Cemetery. Survived by parents, sister Barbara, brother Glenn, and grandparents. Train crew from De Leon mourns with community.
