Rural Carrier Examination Open for De Leon Texas
The U S Civil Service Commission announced an examination for a rural carrier position at the De Leon Texas post office Route 2. Route 2 spans 57 miles and was previously served by retiree W J Coley. Applicants must reside within the post office delivery area for one year before the closing date and meet age limits 15 to 45 with veteran preference waivers. Applications must be filed or postmarked by September 13 1935 with forms available at the post office or the Commission in Washington.
