Rabies Reported in De Leon Sets Clinic at High School
Dr. James Teague reports two confirmed rabies cases in skunks near De Leon with possible spread to Gustine. A Rabies Clinic will be held April 21 from 1 to 4 pm at the Ag Building, De Leon High School, with a $3 fee. Transportation can be arranged by calling the Ag Building. Bearcats Defend District Golf Title In 483 Victory
De Leon High School won the district golf championship defeating Ranger and Dublin. The De Leon boys totaled 483 over 27 holes led by Tad Tate 115 Marney Wilkerson 120 Mac Glazier 124 Gary Park 124 and Danny Carruth 142. Ranger’s Mike Lebredo tied Tad and claimed medalist after sudden death playoff. Ranger finished second with 531 Dublin 591.
