Red Crosses Benched in Patriotic Bonspiel Finish
The Red Crees bonspiel concluded Monday night with Garrett winning the final of the fourth event over Rae defeating Garren in the final game Ree won the second event by beating Bamdereur and Thu pook led the host. The event featured many players and ended with the executive decision to honor the Red Cross. Winning rinks included Prank Duff skip and Geo Rae skip among others.

Grain Growers Meeting Discusses Membership and Women’s Roles
The Grain Growers met on Saturday with delegates from Regina Meser present. Gieselman urged higher membership and a $12 life membership, plus support for the legal department and Red Crow. Woodman praised WGGA strength and proposed a loan to carry to the next convention. Ketcheson reported on the women’s convention. Mrs Blackmore’s report covered social aspects. A motion thanked delegates. a condolence letter was sent to Mrs. Thomson. The group planned inviting WGGA women to the next meeting to discuss forming a local women’s group, and the president urged support for the agricultural society fair.
