Death of Homer W Stout in Canada noted
Homer W Stout of Davidson Sark died January 20 after a period of illness that followed a visit from relatives. Despite good health upon arrival, he suffered typhoid pneumonia and related complications. He was born November 28 1882 and came to this state in 1907 working on farms before moving to Canada. He leaves his mother, sister, and two brothers, with funeral services to be held at Michar Stants preaching.

The Ladies Aid of the Methodist Church met at the parsonage on Wednesday evening. Severe weather kept country attenders away, but about thirty members enjoyed contests and a photo guessing game. Refreshments followed as President Miller announced a 6190 thank offering. The gathering closed with national anthems.
