Alberta Suto Thief Arrested in Bradworth After Struggle
Ernest Rennault alias Ales Marsh a noted Suto thief in Alberta was arrested Saturday by Corporal W N Whybrow of the Saskatoon detachment in Bradworth. He faced obstructing a peace officer and was jailed for trial. Inspector C M Smith investigates stolen motors with four Ford cars and one Chevrolet reported missing from Alberta. Rennault carried Ford keys and tools and had prior Manitoba penitentiary time for highway robbery.

Lieutenant Cecil Lick Wounded in Bombing Event at Base Hospital
A letter from Cecil Lick of the Aviation services to his parents describes a bombing incident in which his roommates and nine others were in the line of a bomb that killed one and wounded five. Cecil received a head wound but says the injury is not serious and he is in Base Hospital No 8 in France.

Quiet wedding in Davidson unites Mildred Cole and Henry Brent
A quiet wedding solemnized at Regina am Wednesday August 7 when Mildred Cole and Henry Alvin Brent both of Davidson were united in marriage by Rev Mulligan. The couple honeymooned briefly from Portage la Prairie to Winnipeg and returned to Davidson. They have taken rooms in the Union Hotel and Brent has resumed his duties as operator at the CN depot.

A Knox Lawn party on the Coutts estate drew many attendees for games like clock golf and croquet and a contest with prizes. Obituary notices from Bladworth and Davidson districts
Obituary notices report the death of James Morrison a 63 year old bachelor farmer from the Bladworth district who died at home after a brief illness. He was born in Scotland and came to Saskatchewan eleven years ago. Surviving relatives include his mother two brothers and one sister with the sister attending the funeral in Hindworth where a Masonic burial service followed a church service conducted by Rev J Jackson. Also noted is the August 26 death of Minnie EM F Petterley wife of Char Fetterley eighteen miles east of Davidson age thirty one with six children surviving. The funeral and burial were handled by Popplewell of Davidson with services at the farm residence and interment at the burpital cemetery.

Funeral of the Late Mrs Rowley Held at Davideos
The funeral of the late Mrs Rowley took place on August 20 at the farm residence and the Mthods Church in Davideos. A large crowd attended the brief service at 1 pm and the public service at 2:39 pm conducted by Rev A J Henderson with Rev H Joyce assisting. Wreaths from Orange Lodge and other friends marked the tribute.
