The ladies of Trenton WGGA hosted a well attended social at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rus aril last Tuesday. Despite rain and muddy roads, guests enjoyed a verandah program of piano, violin, solo and duet numbers, a recitation, and remarks by Rev H Joyce urging more neighborly gatherings for mutual improvement.

Farmer Sustains Broken Leg in Davidson District Accident
Karl Sayles, a well known Davidson district farmer, was injured Friday when his horse stumbled during a chase after a stray horse. He crawled a quarter mile to reach help before being taken to Davidson Union Hospital, where doctors diagnosed a broken right leg above the ankle.
