Burglars Raid Six Davenport Homes In Snowstorm
A Davenport snowbound night saw burglars enter or attempt six homes, mainly on Eighth Street between Seventh and Ninth. The Hanssen residence at 528 West Highth lost about $50 in cash and valuables, with more taken from other houses including En glehart at 424 West Highth street and Macrorie at Le Claire Street, as neighbors reported break ins, unusual entries, and minor thefts across the neighborhood.

Woman Found Lying in Snow Near City Cemetery
Mrs William Sudbrook of Northwest Davenport was found yesterday afternoon in the city cemetery, nearly dead from exposure. Firemen at Hose learned of her plight, revived her, and Chief Martins arranged transport to the house of detention where her father R F Johannsen took her home. No serious results are feared.
