Credit Men Convene for National Association Plans
Largely attended meeting of city credit men last evening at the Business Men's association rooms discussed forming a national organization to meet in Toledo June 23 24. John Grabble presented a draft constitution by W H Preston of Sioux City and suggested National Association of Credit M anagers as a name. Most favored a small compact national body with separate state organizations and duties of officers discussed but no conclusion reached. Objects include protection of credit reduction of losses from bad debts prevention of fraud reform of collection methods and improvement of reporting and handling of bankrupt estates.
