Memphis, Tenn. December 25. The steam er Sun in the Memphis and Fulton trade burned to the water's edge early this morning. Four lives were lost. Deceased include T C N Rainey Mrs D N Rainey Mrs G M Timbs and infant child of G M Timbs. Miss Josie Hammers escaped uninjured. Fire discovered at 4 am and spread rapidly. several passengers awakened by smoke. Timbs identified a burned body as his wife by a ring. Baby body not found. Vessel and cargo valued at 20000.
