Mrs. Katherine Collins aged 104 died here today in Clinton. The long-lived resident passed away this morning at her home, authorities said.

Bob Corks of Mt. Pleasant was found fatally injured near the Chicago Burlington and Quincy yards in Burlington. He had shot himself twice with intent to end his life. He was unemployed and despondent at the time of the act.
